  • Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization (RICO). Any act or threat involving murder, kidnapping, gambling, arson, robbery, bribery, extortion, dealing in obscene matter, or dealing in a controlled substance or listed chemical (as defined in Section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act), which is chargeable under state law and punishable by imprisonment for more than one year. 18 U.S.C. § 1961.
  • Interstate Transportation of Stolen Property. Prohibits the transportation in interstate or foreign commerce of any goods of the value of $5,000 or more where the goods are known to have been stolen, converted or taken by fraud. These statutes also prohibit the receipt and sale of such known stolen goods. 18 U.S.C. §§ 2314, 2315.
  • Tax Fraud/Tax Evasion. Violations of the criminal provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, by willful evasion of taxes, or willful failure to pay taxes due. 26 U.S.C. §§ 7201, et. seq.

    • Kidnapping Children. International Parental Kidnapping under 18 U.S.C. § 1204
    • Importing Obscenity. Importation or Transportation of Obscene Matter under 18 U.S.C. § 1466

    • Interstate Facilitation. Use of Interstate Facilities to Transmit Information about a Minor. 18 U.S.C. § 2425.

      • Hate Crimes. Matthew Shephard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act. 18 U.S.C. § 249.
      • Conspiracy. Criminal conspiracy against rights. 18 U.S.C. § 241.

      • Biological Weapons. Violations of the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 and other laws that outlaw possess of biological agents, toxins and delivery systems.
